My creative origin is the outdoors - communing with critters and nature in my rural Upstate NY home. As a child, the natural world was the creative landscape where the sticks taught me to scuplt, the birds taught me their songs, and the slow pace of nature taught me to find inspiration in it all. My family includes sculptors, painters, musicians, cowboys, writers and textile artists, so my life has been imbued with artistic alchemy since I arrived.
